Questions

Are you a moving company?

No. We are a matching service. We find machinery movers and riggers near you that handle your machine's weight and scope, and they quote you directly.

What information do movers need?

Machine make and model, weight and dimensions, both addresses, access details (doors, docks, floors, stairs), dates and whether you need disconnect, leveling or reinstallation.

Do movers handle the whole job?

Many do: disconnect, rigging, transport, placement, leveling and reconnection. Some specialize. Say which parts of the job you need.

What about insurance?

Ask each mover for their insurance certificate and coverage limits, and check your own coverage for equipment in transit. Do this before the move date.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can. Large or multi machine moves benefit from a site visit and a written plan weeks before the move.

Is the service free?

Yes for plants and shops. Movers pay for requests they accept.
